The large harbour on the Island of Capri is called the Marina Grande. It is the arrival point for ferries from Naples, Sorrento, Ischia, Positano, Salerno and Amalfi.

The base station for the funicular railway that runs up the hillside to the town of Capri is located at Marina Grande. Bus service is available from Marina Grande to the town of Anacapri which is located on the far side of the island.
