The city of Naples is the largest city in southern Italy and consequently the arrival point for many international visitors on route to Capri. From Naples, tourists can catch a ferry from the Port of Naples directly to Capri. Alternatively, one can take the Circumvesuviana commuter train from Naples to Sorrento and then catch the ferry from Sorrento to Capri.
